A personal note from me.

Like you, I am a person who is trying to truly live my life rather than simply exist. In our modern world, that is becoming an ever increasing challenge. My goal is simple—to enjoy life by living in joy!

My “formal” education is in science. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Nevada—Las Vegas back in 1974 after a 4 years stint in the Navy. I spent much of my career working as a computer geologist/geophysicist, and also as a computer programmer. I also ran several of my own businesses for over 15 years. These experiences gave me a good insight into why many people are feeling so much distress.

I became interested in metaphysics in the ‘70’s while in the Navy. I left this interest in an effort to “be like everyone else" and it took me a while to accept that I saw things differently than many other people. Over the past three decades, I have aggressively returned to this interest. I have studied Reiki, and became a “master/teacher” in two different schools of Reiki; I have studied Meditation under many teachers; I attended training classes in “The Reconnection" under Dr. Eric Pearl; I learned Modern Personal Shamanism through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies as well as under a variety of teachers with diverse heritage and training; and perhaps most significantly took the Toltec Apprentice Community On-line (TACO) training offered by my mentor Allan Hardman.

Through all of this I have seen a common thread - that many people are looking for something different in their lives, but they don't know what they are looking for. The amazing thing is that it is sitting inside of them just waiting to be released!
What is a Well Being Consultant?

Before I answer that question, let me tell you what I feel it is not. To me it is not telling others how to live, what to eat, how or what to think, or anything like that.

I feel that being a Well Being Consultant is simply using nontraditional ways to help others see and be part of the world around us. I use a wide variety of alternative healing modalities and philosophies to help you live in joy—being at home in your own body, and enjoying your own company!

We are all one; we all hold the spark of Divinity within us. Touching that Spark gives us a sense of well being that has become more and more rare—but is so important to our spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional health.

In the modern world, the physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual aspects of an individual are treated as separate and distinct entities. I try to help the individual reconnect all of these back together into a unified whole.

I have been helping people create a new definition of what is called reality for themselves for over 15 years. As the world that we live in continues to change, people often find themselves looking for more holistic ways to enjoy life—or live their life in joy. There are a lot of options to explore and by working together we can help you rediscover who you truly are.  I am continuously researching the many complementary and alternative modalities that are available that you can use to help you create a new joyful you. I am available for lectures, classes, interactive presentations, and one on one sessions.

It’s All Up To You

There are many gateways to your personal awareness - and there is no "one size fits all" that works for everyone. The things that are important are some of the greatest emotions we can have. These are Tolerance, Compassion, Humility, Honesty, and Respect. These are usually given to others much more than we give them to ourselves!

The expert on you is YOU! While the tools I use include Reiki, EFT, Modern Shamanism, Meditation, Toltec Wisdom and others these are just tools. Sometimes I simply sit and listen and help YOU find you already know your own answers!

One of the biggest things I have learned is that it isn’t the tools that are used, but the willingness of the person to rediscover themselves. Nobody can do anything for you! The best anyone can do is to help you gain the tools you need to help you rediscover yourself. The bottom line is that you have to do it yourself, and though at times it can be difficult and frustrating, the rewards are amazing!

The most important thing is to have fun with your rediscovery! This should not be considered work, but the adventure of your life in many ways. This is because it is your life and life was never meant to be a struggle, but a grand adventure to be enjoyed and celebrated!
